White Room Gallery is presenting “Spin,” an exhibition of abstract and figurative works exploring movement, perspective and energy, running through December 28. The gallery hosted an opening reception and holiday party on Saturday, December 6.
The exhibit features a range of works that play with layers, narratives and motion, including a spinning Charlie Brown, a floppy disc astronaut in space, spray paint compositions, city street scenes and lyric-inspired figurative creations. Curators describe the show as a celebration of energy, a defiance of inertia, and “a brief trip in a vehicle for pleasure.”
Artists featured in the exhibition include Pascal Guetta, Punk Me Tender, Taylor Smith, Artlord, Seek One, Brad Beyer, Gregory Goy, SQRA, Rock Therrien and others.
The White Room Gallery is located at 3 Railroad Avenue in East Hampton. For more information, visit thewhiteroom.gallery.
