Auditions for ‘A Streetcar Named Desire’ at Bay Street Theater

Bay Street Theater will hold auditions for this year’s Literature Live! production of “A Streetcar Named Desire” by Tennessee Williams to be directed by Stephen Hamilton. Auditions are Monday, September 9, from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. with a lunch break from 1 to 2 p.m. Local actors are encouraged to audition. All rehearsals and performances will be held at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. Actors who reside within a 50-mile radius of Sag Harbor are strongly urged to attend. Housing is not provided. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.

Rehearsals begin October 24. Performances for schools run Mondays to Fridays, November 12 to 27, and performances for the public run Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, November 11 to December 1.
