Auditions for Arthur Miller’s ‘The Crucible’

Bay Street Theater will host auditions for Arthur Miller’s “The Crucible,” this year’s “Literature Live!” production, which will be directed by Will Pomerantz. Rehearsals begin October 19. Performances for schools run Mondays to Fridays, November 6 to 22, and performances for the public run Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, November 9 to 26.

Equity principal auditions for the production will be held at the theater on Saturday, August 19, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prepare one side of your choice for the audition. The theater will provide a reader. Local actors are encouraged to audition. All rehearsals and performances will be held at the Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor. Actors who reside within a 50-mile radius of Sag Harbor are strongly urged to attend. Housing is not provided. Performers of all ethnic and racial backgrounds are encouraged to attend.
