Author Panel With Zibby Owens at SAC

authorStaff Writer on Jul 5, 2024

Author, podcaster, publisher, CEO, mom of four and Sag Harbor resident Zibby Owens will host a panel and book signing at Southampton Arts Center on Friday, August 9, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. In addition to Owens, authors and panelists will include Audrey Bellezza, Emily Harding and Swan Huntley. The four will discuss their books and the process of writing and publishing their stories. Following the panel will be a book signing for books published under Zibby Media.

Zibby Owens is the powerhouse behind Zibby Media, the monthly book round-ups for “Good Morning America,” and creator of the hit podcast, “Moms Don’t Have Time To Read Books.” In her first novel, “Blank,” she dives head-first into a meta-satirical story about the publishing industry, rounding it out with themes of motherhood, friendships, marriage, career and betrayal.

Swan Huntley is the author of “I Want You More,” which was published by Zibby Books in May, and the novels “Getting Clean With Stevie Green,” “The Goddesses” and “We Could Be Beautiful.” She is also the writer and illustrator of the journal-style mini-tomes “The Bad Mood Book” and “You’re Grounded.” Huntley earned an MFA at Columbia University and has received fellowships from MacDowell and Yaddo, where she was the 2019 recipient of The LeSage-Fullilove Residency. She lives in Los Angeles.

Emily Harding is a writer and TV producer whose work has appeared on numerous networks and websites.

Tickets are free at southamptonartscenter.org. Southampton Arts Center is at 25 Jobs Lane, Southampton.
