LTV Studios will present “Me and Betty” with Broadway veteran Lee Roy Reams on Friday, July 11, at 7:30 p.m. The performance is part of the Hamptons Summer Songbook By The Sea series, produced by LTV Creative Director Josh Gladstone and independent producer Donna Rubin.

In this intimate show, Reams will share stories and songs about his close friendship with stage and screen legend Lauren Bacall, who was known personally as Betty Joan Perske. Audiences will hear behind-the-scenes anecdotes and a heartfelt tribute to the iconic actress.

Lee Roy Reams, a Kentucky-born actor, singer, dancer and choreographer, earned a Tony nomination for the original Broadway production of “42nd Street.” He was the first male actor to play an openly gay character in a Broadway musical (“Applause”), starring Bacall, and the first American male to star as the lead in “Hello, Dolly!” His versatile career includes roles in “La Cage aux Folles,” “Victor/Victoria” and “The Producers,” along with multiple appearances on television, concert stages and cabaret venues worldwide. He has performed four times at the White House.

Accompanying Reams will be pianist, arranger and composer Alex Rybeck, known for his work on Broadway shows such as “Merrily We Roll Along” and “Grand Hotel,” as well as his acclaimed cabaret and concert collaborations. Rybeck has arranged albums for numerous artists and earned a 2023 Grammy nomination for his work with Liz Callaway. This marks his third season with LTV Studios.

Tickets are $60 in advance, $65 at the door, and VIP cocktail table seating is available for $100, which includes a drink ticket. Tickets and information are available at ltveh.org. LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
