Hamptons Dance Project (HDP) has announced the full program for its seventh season, which will take place from Friday, August 8, through Sunday, August 10, at the Fireplace Lodge in Springs, East Hampton.
The 2025 program brings together celebrated HDP alumni with a dynamic roster of new artists, continuing the organization’s commitment to presenting exceptional dance in an unparalleled outdoor setting.
Returning choreographers for HDP Season VII include Gregory Dolbashian, artistic director of The Dash Ensemble; Jorma Elo, resident choreographer of Boston Ballet; Justin Peck, Tony Award-winning resident choreographer of New York City Ballet; and Christopher Wheeldon, internationally renowned choreographer and Tony Award winner. Making their HDP choreographic debuts are Jonathan Royce Windham, a featured dancer in HDP Season VI, and Remi Wortmeyer, artistic director of BalletMet.
This year’s dancer lineup features the return of Sierra Armstrong, Aran Bell, Lauren Bonfiglio, Catherine Hurlin, Tyler Maloney, and Jose Sebastian, artistic director of HDP — all members of American Ballet Theatre. They will be joined by Jarod Alexander, tap artist; Lloyd Knight; and Jonathan Royce Windham. Newcomers for this season include Griffin Massey, Carly Olson, and Joseph Markey, also of American Ballet Theatre.
Performances will be held at Fireplace Lodge, a 20-acre farm in Springs overlooking Gardiner’s Bay on the northeast shore of East Hampton. Now in its fifth season at this venue, HDP’s open-air stage offers a rare opportunity to witness world-class dance in an intimate, natural setting.
The Hamptons Dance Project pairs leading dancers from ballet and modern dance with acclaimed choreographers to present both reimagined classical works and contemporary premieres. HDP supports artistic exploration, fosters innovation, and builds bridges between dance and the diverse communities of Long Island’s East End.
Tickets for HDP Season VII are available at hamptonsdanceproject.org and through the LTV Studios website at ltveh.org. General admission starts at $150, and admission with a preshow reception is available for $200.
