Barnes Landing Association Honors Anna Mirabai Lytton With Annual Reading

Writers and artists will discuss their works in progress on Saturday, June 6, from 2 to 3 p.m. during the 14th annual Writers Reading and Irish Sing at the Barnes Landing Association Meeting House, located next to the beach at the intersection of Barnes Hole Road and Water’s Edge in Springs.

The event was recently renamed the Anna Mirabai Lytton Writers’ and Artists’ Showcase in honor of Ms. Lytton, a local student and young writer who died last year in a traffic accident.

Participants will include writers Francine Whitney, Martin Tucker, Carole Stone, Dee Slavutin, Kate Rabinowitz, Carol Goodale, Ramesh Das, Elena Lesser Bruun, Lisa Dickler Awano, Hiroo Dickler Awano and visual artist David Bennett.
