The event raised $8,000 for the non-profit arts and education organization, with the band, “Monday’s at Five,” taking home the top prize. According to founder and director Kate Mueth, the Neo-Political Cowgirls will use that funding for its newest endeavor, “Dude’s Eye View,” a free film workshop for high school boys — a program they will offer in partnership with the Hamptons International Film Festival. Michael Heller photo[/caption]

Town's Youth Bureau To Host Two Open Mic Nights

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will host an Open Mic Night on Friday, October 18, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Nice Place Coffee, 41 N. Phillips Avenue, Suite #4 in Remsenburg-Speonk.
