Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor, which will celebrate its 20th season this year, has announced its 2011 “Mainstage” and “Comedy Club” productions.

The season opened with a production of “Tru,” which will stage through Sunday, June 26. The play, written by Jay Presson Allen, stars “Saturday Night Live” alum Darrell Hammond as Truman Capote.

Also appearing at Bay Street are the stars of Broadway’s “Rent,” Adam Pascal and Anthony Rapp, who will give a concert on Monday, June 13, at 8 p.m.

Richard Belzer kicks off the “Comedy Club” series lineup on July 2.

Next up, staging from July 5 to July 31, is the play “Betty’s Summer Vacation,” written by Christopher Durang and directed by Trip Cullman.

Comedian Patten Oswalt takes the stage on July 11.

The annual “Rock the Dock” Bay Street summer benefit gala will be held on Saturday, July 16 at 6:30 p.m. The fundraising event will feature cocktails, dining, dancing and auctions with celebrity hosts Chris Bauer, Richard Kind and Mercedes Ruehl.

Fred Armisen performs as part of the “Comedy Club” series on July 18, followed by comedienne Patrice O’Neal on July 25.

The final “Mainstage” production will be “Enter Laughing: The Musical,” which will stage from August 9 through September 4. The play, which is based on the semi-autobiographical novel by Carl Reiner, was written by Joseph Stein, with music and lyrics by Stan Daniels and will be directed by Stuart Ross.

The final three performers for the “Comedy Club” series will be Elayne Boosler on August 15, Top Papa on August 22 and Andrea Martin, who will star in the show “Final Days: Everything Must Go!” on August 29.
