Sag Harbor’s Bay Street Theater will present a work-in-progress, “Colin Quinn The New York Story,” directed by Jerry Seinfeld, on June 30, July 2 and July 3 at 4 p.m.

In “Colin Quinn The New York Story,” the comedian bemoans the rise and fall of his hometown from its modest beginnings as Dutch outpost to the hipsters of modern Williamsburg to the vermin below and above ground. Mr. Quinn is once again at his satirical best, taking aim at the prejudice, paranoia’s, and peculiarities that make New York City the crossroads of the world. The show is based on Mr. Quinn’s best-selling book, “The Coloring Book.”

Mr. Quinn was a cast member on Saturday Night Live from 1995 to 2000, anchoring Weekend Update in his last two years on the show. Mr. Quinn hosted the “Tough Crowd with Colin Quinn” and “The Colin Quinn Show,” and cohosted “Remote Control” and has appeared in multiple films and television shows including “Girls” and “Inside Amy Schumer.”

Tickets to Colin Quinn The New York Story are $20-$40. For more information, call (631) 725-9500 or visit baystreet.org.
