Bedside Reading, which distributes tote bags filled with complimentary books for guests staying in hotels and inns around the South Fork throughout the summer, is back and celebrating Independence Day with a selection of books highlighting a wide variety of independent authors from different genres.

From Friday, July 1, to Monday, July 4, participating East End hotels will offer guests a collection of fiction and non-fiction books including mysteries and thrillers, memoirs, fiction, historical fiction, sci-fi/fantasy and children’s books from the program’s participating authors.

The July 4th weekend titles include: “Butter Side Up” by Jane Enright (memoir); “Dawg Towne” by Alice Kaltman (fiction); “The Tiger’s Eye” by Scott Delaney (fiction); “These Impossible Things” by Salma El-Wardany (fiction); “The Last Lumenian” by S.G. Blaise (sci-fi/fantasy); “At The Sea” by Emma Guiliani (children’s); “The Fairmounts” by Valerie Nifora (historical fiction); “The Sinister” by David Putnam (thriller); “Last Call” by Randall Mcnair (poetry); “Half-Blown Rose” by Leesa Cross-Smith (fiction); “Ballast Point Breakdown” by Corey Fayman (mystery/thriller); “Run Walk Crawl” by Sarahbeth Persiani (memoir).

Bedside Reading’s eBooks, audio books and physical books are complimentary at Mill House Inn, The Maidstone Hotel, Southampton Inn, 1708 House and Journey East Hampton. Complimentary tote bags of books can also be found at Lucille Khornak Gallery in Bridgehampton (while supplies last). Additional weekends are planned.

Hamptons Pride, LTV To Host 'Philadelphia' Screening for World AIDS Day
