Bedside Reading, which places a wide variety of complimentary books by the bedsides of East End inns and boutique properties throughout the United States, celebrates the fall season with a new collection of books the weekend of October 8. Fiction and science fiction, mysteries and romance as well as women’s and historical fiction and memoirs round out the weekend’s collection. And via a special QR code found in a gift card in each bag, visitors can access additional books via a download program.

“We are happy that we can continue our program into the fall,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, founder, Bedside Reading. “The change of seasons is the perfect time to turn to cozy romances, mysteries and more and we love that we can bring all of that to the Hamptons for weekend getaways. And we will also be here for Thanksgiving and Christmas.”

Titles included in this weekend’s tote bag are: “Forever Eve” by JB Lexington (women’s fiction/romance); “Ms. Never” by Colin Dodds (science fiction); “Under the Willows” by Pamela McCord (paranormal mystery/romance); “The Road to Delano” by John DeSimone (historical fiction); “Against Such Things: A Memoir of Trauma, Addiction & Survival” by Rachel Baldwin (memoir/substance abuse); “Behind the Door” by Adriana Gavazzoni (mystery/romance/erotica); “Ophelia: Drowning in Guilt” by Norman Bacal (mystery); “Self-Publish & Succeed: The No Boring Books Way to Write a Non-Fiction Book that Sells” by Julie Broad (non-fiction); “The Last Lumenian” by S.G. Blaise (sci-fi/fantasy)

Books are complimentary at the following hotels and inns: The Baker House 1650, Mill House Inn, The Maidstone Hotel, Southampton Inn, Topping Rose House, Hyatt Place East End, The Preston House & Hotel, Marram in Montauk and Journey East Hampton. Complimentary tote bags of books can also be found at Lucille Khornak Gallery in Bridgehampton. Additional weekends are planned throughout the fall. For more information, visit bedsidereading.com.
