Bedside Reading is bringing books to visitors who are coming to the East End for Presidents Day Weekend. From Friday, February 18, to Monday, February 21, Bedside Reading, which places a variety of free books by bedsides in boutique properties throughout the U.S., is offering a collection of fiction and non-fiction books including business, healthcare and true crime from the program’s participating authors.

Starting this holiday weekend, each hotel will provide a Bedside Reading bookmark with a special QR code providing access to a variety of eBooks and audiobooks via their “On the Download” program.

“Just as we celebrate all of our presidents on this upcoming holiday, we also celebrate the many ways people today like to read,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, founder, Bedside Reading. “While a physical book is loved by many, others like the ease of reading on their electronic devises. We are happy to bring reading to everyone — in whichever platform they prefer and continue our Bedside Reading tradition here in the Hamptons this holiday weekend.”

Books included in the Presidents Day Weekend tote bags include: “Make It, Don’t Fake It” by Sabrina Horn (business); “It Takes a Village” by Keven Pereau (healthcare); “Our Prison Story” by Liberty Miller (true crime).

Bedside Reading’s eBooks, audiobooks and physical books are complimentary and can be found at the following Hamptons hotels and inns over Presidents Day Weekend — Mill House Inn, The Maidstone Hotel, Southampton Inn and Journey East Hampton. Complimentary tote bags of books can also be found at Lucille Khornak Gallery in Bridgehampton.

“On the Download” e-titles are: “The Changemaker” by Deke Copenhaver (business/non-fiction/audiobook); “The Birth Mother” by Seymour Ubell (fiction/audiobook); “The Last Lumenian” by S.G. Blaise (fantasy/fiction/audiobook); “Ruby Falls” by Deborah Royce (thriller); “Vengeance: A Legal Thriller” by Deborah Hawkins (thriller/audiobook); “Mindfulness and Mysticism” by Ora Nadrich (spiritual); “Firework Humans” by Jessica Mead (business); “My Turn” by Allison Jones (rom-com); “Pride and Prejudice” by Jane Austen (classic); “The Lost Son” by Stephanie Vanderslice (historical fiction); “The Green Lace Corset” by Jill Hall (women’s fiction); “Princess Naomi Helps a Unicorn” by Once Upon a Dance (children’s).
