Bill Keller And Joe Shaw Discuss What's News At Rogers Memorial Library

author27east on Aug 12, 2019

What is truth in the era of fake news? How can you tell legitimate sources from pretenders?

With those questions in mind, on Thursday, August 22, at 6 p.m., the Rogers Memorial Library in Southampton collaborates with the Express News Group to offer “Truth in the Time of Trump.”

Bill Keller, a Pulitzer Prize-winning journalist and founding editor-in-chief of the Marshall Project as well as foreign editor, managing editor, op-ed columnist and executive editor for The New York Times, will have a conversation with Joe Shaw, executive editor of the Express News Group.

Mr. Keller and Mr. Shaw will discuss the challenges that the news media have faced during the first term of the Trump administration.

Rogers Memorial Library is at 91 Coopers Farm Road in Southampton. Space is limited and reservations are required at myrml.org or 631-283-0774 extension 523.
