Esteemed North Fork winemaker Richard Olsen-Harbich, author of the book “Sun, Sea, Soil, Wine” will take part in a talk at the John Jermain Memorial Library in Sag Harbor at 2 p.m. on Sunday, March 3. His talk is co-presented by The Church in Sag Harbor.

Olsen-Harbich has been making award-winning local wines for over 40 years. In “Sun, Sea, Soil, Wine,” his debut book, he explores the intricacies of the region’s unique climate, geography and soils, which produce high-quality, unique wines. At the event, he will share the intricate history of winemaking and how Long Island grew to garner recognition as a premier wine destination. The event is free. Books will be available for purchase and inscription.
