Singer/songwriter Brett Dennen will play the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Sunday, April 17, at 8 p.m., as part of the “Breakout Artist Series.”

The series, a collaboration with WEHM 92.9 and 96.9, was created to bring up-and-coming young performers to the East End.

Mr. Dennen was named “An Artist to Watch” by Rolling Stone Magazine. He was called one of eight “Guys on the Rise” by Entertainment Weekly magazine. His music has been featured on television shows including “Grey’s Anatomy” and “House.” Additionally, he has toured with Femi Kuti, Natalie Merchant and Dave Matthews. This tour supports Mr. Dennen’s fourth album, the just-released “Loverboy.”

Tickets for the Brett Dennen show at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center are $25. Purchase by visiting whbpac.org, calling 288-1500, or stopping by the box office on Main Street in Westhampton Beach.
