The third annual Bridgehampton Art Affair returns to the Bridgehampton Museum July Fourth weekend with an added day, offering an expanded opportunity to explore the work of 75 fine artists from across Long Island and the nation.
Presented by national art festival producer Howard Alan Events, the juried outdoor showcase runs Friday, July 4, from noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, July 5, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Sunday, July 6, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Admission is free and leashed pets are welcome.
The Bridgehampton Art Affair spans a range of media, from life-size sculptures and abstract paintings to handmade jewelry, ceramics and photography. Notable artists taking part include sculptor Larry Agnello of Amityville, who transforms antique mechanical parts into intricate art; East Patchogue painter Adam Bell, known for his vivid, imaginative acrylic works; Southold photographer Daniel Jones, whose global travels inspire large-format prints focused on form and texture; and jewelry artist Juan Velez, who hand-weaves gold into filigree chains using pre-Columbian techniques.
The Bridgehampton Art Affair takes place at the Bridgehampton Museum, 2368 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton.
