Jane Martin will host a four-part seminar on “The Business of Art” at the Springs Presbyterian Church, starting Friday, June 15.

The series, which will be held on Fridays, June 15, June 29, July 9 and July 20, will address how artists can take advantage of the art market and make money from their work.

The first session will be on “The Professional Artist” and will address consignments, contracts, etc.” Janet Goleas will be the guest speaker.

The second session will focus on “The In And Outs” of pricing art, databases, websites, catalogues, grants and more. Part three will be on “Promoting Yourself” via social media and the press. “Selling Your Art” will be the focus of the last session.
