The Southampton Arts Center will have a new live offering, An Evening of Cabaret with Valerie diLorenzo, on December 10 at 7 p.m.

Ms. diLorenzo is a multi-award-winning Manhattan cabaret artist and Equity actress who will present an evening of songs and stories on a journey through the Great American songbook. Steven Silverstein, a Broadway and cabaret musical director, composer and accompanist, will accompany her.

“Southampton Arts Center is delighted to have Valerie grace our stage in December. She has made a name for herself on the East End both as a performer and vocal coach, and we are so pleased to add her to the lineup of wonderful offerings in diverse and exciting LIVE series,” Amy Kirwin the Director of Programs said.

Some featured composers concert include Stephen Sondheim, Kander & Ebb, Joni Mitchell, Irving Berlin, and Elvis Presley. Ms. diLorenzo has an active presence in New York City, but East End audiences may remember her from appearances in “Concerts in the Park” in Southampton and Westhampton, her recent tribute to Sondheim at Guild Hall, or any one of her numerous performances at Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, The Suffolk Theater, or SUNY Southampton.

This program is made possible thanks to the support of Diane Vahradian. Tickets are $20 and $15 for seniors.
