Rowdy Hall in East Hampton, led by longtime Deadhead chef Ed Lightcap, will screen the Dead & Co. “Cornell ’23” concert on Monday, May 8, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m. The one-night only anniversary concert will commemorate the Grateful Dead’s Cornell University show held in 1977. Longtime Grateful Dead followers agree that this show represented the original band at its apex, so the return to Cornell is sure to be a not-to-be-missed appearance by current Dead & Co. members.
Doors at Rowdy Hall will open at 6:30 p.m. with the show set to start at 7:30 p.m. Viewing tickets are $32.50 and include a Springs Brewery “Lazy Lighting IPA” in a Rowdy commemorative party cup, plus a portion of the proceeds will benefit Parent Project Muscular Dystrophy. An a la carte menu will be offered for ticketholders throughout the show. Tickets are limited and can be purchased by visiting bit.ly/3AuRUab. Please note some areas of the restaurant will be designated standing room only, and Rowdy Hall is otherwise closed to the public for this event, so a purchased ticket is required for admission.
Rowdy Hall is at 10 Main Street, East Hampton. For more information, call 631-324-8555 or visit rowdyhall.com.
