'Celebrity Autobiography' Comes to Southampton Arts Center

authorStaff Writer on Jul 1, 2024

The Southampton Arts Center (SAC) is hosting the internationally celebrated comedy show, “Celebrity Autobiography,” for an exclusive one-night engagement on Friday, July 12, at 7 p.m. in the SAC theatre with an all-star cast including Christie Brinkley, Richard Kind, Susan Lucci, John Slattery, Talia Balsam, Tate Donovan, Alan Zweibel, Eugene Pack and Dayle Reyfel.

Created by Emmy nominee Eugene Pack and developed with Dayle Reyfel, the show features stars acting out hilarious passages from other star’s memoirs.

Celebrity Autobiography has been critically acclaimed around the world from the United States to London’s West End, Edinburgh, Australia’s Sydney Opera House and an engagement on Broadway.

How does Vanna flip her panels? What secrets does Sylvester Stallone keep in his freezer? Why did Justin Bieber get stuck in the trunk of the car? What does Hasselhoff reveal about the beauties of Baywatch? The passages run the gamut from the “poetry” of Matthew McConaughey to confessions of Miley Cyrus to the most famous Hollywood love triangle in history — Elizabeth Taylor, Debbie Reynolds and Eddie Fisher, told from all sides, in their own words.

Christina Mossaides Strassfield, executive director of SAC, shared her enthusiasm: “‘Celebrity Autobiography’ delivers a unique blend of humor and unexpected revelations, crafting an unforgettable experience for our patrons.”

Tickets are $125 general admission and $150 for premium seating. To purchase tickets and find more information, visit southamptonartscenter.org.

Southampton Arts Center is at 25 Jobs Lane, Southampton.
