The Hampton Ballet Theatre School will present its comic spring ballet, “Cinderella,” on Friday, May 12, at 7 p.m., Saturday, May 13, at 1 and 7 p.m., and Sunday, May 14, at 2 p.m. at the Bridgehampton School Theater.

“Cinderella,” danced to Sergei Prokoviev’s poetic score, is choreographed by Sara Jo Strickland, director of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School, with costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and Kate McManus and lighting designed by Sebastian Paczynski. The performers are all dedicated and trained dancers of the Hampton Ballet Theatre School. HBTS Senior Professional Level 8 students will all be dancing lead roles. Molly Radice will dance the role of Cinderella, while Sadie Radice and Lua Li will be sharing the roles of the Fairy Godmother and the Winter Fairy. James Monroe Stevko will dance the role of Prince Charming as HBTS’s professional guest artist.

The evil stepmother will be portrayed by Kate Johnston and the comic stepsisters are hilariously played by Leila Genender and Shilo McCarthy, all three dancers in Professional Level 7 at HBTS. Nicholas Peregrino, also an HBTS guest artist, will portray Cinderella’s henpecked father.

This classic tale of Cinderella, with the magical fairy godmother and the antics of the stepmother and stepsisters, will enchant and delight audiences of all ages. Don’t miss this wonderful fairytale ballet, with the Prince’s quest to find the owner of the beautiful glass slipper and find his true love for all of time.

Bridgehampton School is at 2685 Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton. Advance tickets are $20 to $35 and day of performance ticket prices range from $25 to $40, depending on the designated section.
