Click Into Summer: Photographers Chase the Perfect Light at Water Mill

The East End Photographers Group will present its 14th annual photographic exhibition, “Chasing the Light,” at the Water Mill Museum from July 26 through August 10.

The exhibit will feature a diverse collection of works using traditional, digital and alternative photographic processes. Participating artists hail from New York City to Montauk and include Bobby Alan, Joseph Barretto, Laura Blume, Steve Brodsky, Ron Buchter, Leo Crowley, Jody Cukier, Gerry Giliberti, Paula Kelly, Danielle Leef, Keith Manning, Joanna McCarthy, Harold Naideau, Richard Nelson, Val Schaffner, James Slezak, Marilyn Stevenson, Mark Testa, Susan Woog Wagner and George Whitson.

Gerry Giliberti, curator of the exhibition, is an original member of the East End Photographers Group, founded more than 35 years ago. He has served on the boards of the Springs Improvement Society, Artist Alliance of East Hampton and Southampton Artists Association, and has curated numerous shows for the region.

An opening reception will be held Saturday, July 26, from 4 to 6 p.m. The Water Mill Museum is located at 41 Old Mill Road, Water Mill. Museum hours are Thursday through Saturday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. The museum is closed Monday through Wednesday.
