This weekend, Bedside Reading, the hotel amenity that places a wide variety of complimentary books in the rooms of guests staying at select hotels and inns on the East End, closes out summer with a selection of Labor Day Weekend books. Starting Friday, August 30, Bedside Reading will offer guests a wide selection of historical and women’s fiction, memoirs, self-help and finance books from the program’s participating authors.

“The close of summer just means that the cozy book reading season will be upon us soon, and we are happy to share another collection of books to make the end of the season enjoyable,” said Jane Ubell-Meyer, founder of Bedside Reading. “Taking in those last rays of summer with a cool drink and relaxing book can’t be beat.”

Labor Day Weekend books are: “Follow the Stars Home” by Diane C. McPhail (women’s fiction), “Conscious Wealth” by Brandon Hatton (finance), “In the Garden Behind the Moon” by Alexandra Chan (memoir), “The Energy of Success” by Rebecca Ahmed (business motivation/leadership), “30 Summers More” by Dwayne J. Clarke (motivational/self-help), “To Rescue a Witch” by Lisa Traugott (historical fiction), “Being You… Because Everyone Else Is Taken!” by Janis Altman (self-help).
