“Everyone loves the Pachanga,” said Minerva Perez, executive director of OLA of Eastern Long Island. “It’s for families, couples, young folks and older folks, Latinos and non-Latinos.”

OLA’s third consecutive new music and dance event at Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor, “Pachanga 2019: Fuerza y Alma,” is Friday, April 19, at 6:30 p.m. with a food reception.

Carolina Fuentes, a Chilean drummer and audiovisual artist who will present her “Mila Tina” project with rhythms from different continents, is bringing new artists from New York City to Sag Harbor to share their talents.

The first section of the evening will be dedicated to new music and OLA encourages younger members of the community to come enjoy the music. The remainder of the show will feature the music of Mambo Loco for salsa lovers from all over the island and beyond.

“This year has been filled with challenging advocacy work. We feel that this high-energy event allows people the opportunity to reconnect with neighbors and share a dance and a laugh before the breakneck pace of the summer season is upon us,” said Ms. Perez in a statement.

Tickets to Pachanga are $20 in advance, $25 at the door and $15 for students and those under 25 years of age. For tickets, visit olas-pachanga2019-fuerza-y-alma.eventbrite.com.
