Writers Speak Wednesday, a series of free talks and readings at Stony Brook Southampton, returns on October 16 with novelists Nicola Harrison and Michael Mihaley.
Harrison’s debut novel, “Montauk,” was published in June by St. Martin’s Press. In addition to her novel, she has had her work published in The Southampton Review, Glimmer Train, and Los Angeles Magazine. Previously the fashion and style staff writer for Forbes, Harrison now runs a personal styling consulting business, Harrison Style. She is a graduate of UCLA and the Stony Brook MFA program and currently lives in New York City.
Mihaley had his debut novel, “The Underdog Parade,” published in 2018 by Kaylie Jones Books. Currently an ELA/Special Education Teacher on the East End, he is a graduate of the Stony Brook MFA program. He currently lives in Stony Brook with his wife and two children.
