This weekend, the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center (WHBPAC) is presenting the uproarious comedy of Colin Quinn on July 22 at 8 p.m., followed by the extraordinary jazz guitar of John Pizzarelli on July 23 at 8 p.m.

Quinn is slated to perform his highly-regarded one-man show “Small Talk,” while Pizzarelli will delight audiences with his virtuoso guitar stylings.

“Both of these performers are veterans of the WHBPAC and we’re always excited to welcome them back to the Mollie Parnis Auditorium,” said the theater’s marketing director Heather Draskin.

Colin Quinn, renowned for his quick wit and sharp observational humor, is widely regarded as one of the funniest comedians of our time. With a career spanning over three decades and including a five year run on “Saturday Night Live,” Quinn has left audiences in stitches with acclaimed Comedy Central specials, and hilarious one-man shows on Broadway. His unique ability to dissect the quirks and idiosyncrasies of modern life guarantees an unforgettable comedic experience that will leave the adults-only audience rolling in the aisles.

On Sunday July 23, the immensely talented John Pizzarelli, a virtuoso guitarist who effortlessly blends jazz, swing and pop into a harmonious musical experience will dazzle audiences of all ages. Known for his smooth vocals and remarkable guitar skills, Pizzarelli has collaborated with musical giants, earning him critical acclaim and a dedicated following. Audiences can expect an evening of soulful melodies and lively rhythms as he showcases his extraordinary talent and unique musical interpretations. Established as one of the prime contemporary interpreters of the Great American Songbook, he has expanded that repertoire by including the music of Paul McCartney, Joni Mitchell, Neil Young, Tom Waits, Antônio Carlos Jobim and the Beatles. In addition to being a bandleader and solo performer, Pizzarelli has been a special guest on recordings for major pop names such as Natalie Cole, Kristin Chenoweth, Tom Wopat, Rickie Lee Jones and Dave Van Ronk, as well as leading jazz artists such as Rosemary Clooney, Ruby Braff, Johnny Frigo, Buddy DeFranco, Harry Allen and, of course, his father Bucky Pizzarelli. He won a Grammy Award in the Best Traditional Pop Vocal Album category as co-producer of James Taylor’s American Standard in 2021.

“We are delighted to welcome Colin Quinn and John Pizzarelli to the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center,” said Julienne Penza-Boone, executive director of the theater. “This promises to be an incomparable weekend of entertainment.”

Tickets for Colin Quinn are $67 to $90; tickets for John Pizzarelli are $73 to $102. To purchase tickets for both shows, visit whbpac.org or call 631-288-1500 or visit the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center box office at 76 Main Street, Westhampton Beach.
