The Rogers Memorial Library will offer “Meditation for People Who Think They Can't Meditate” via Zoom with Marcia Tumpowsky, on Thursday, May 14, at 11:30 a.m. There is no charge for this event. On Sunday, May 17, at 2:30 pm, The Perlman Music program will share a live online concert with the library. Alumnus Andrew Gonzalez will present a 30-minute program of solo viola. The Rogers Memorial Library will offer a discussion in a series produced by the Foreign Policy Association, “Great Decisions 2020,” monthly sessions about topics of global issues. On Monday, May 18, at 11:30 a.m., Martin Levinson, Ph.D., will moderate a session focusing on India and Pakistan via Zoom. Local farmer and owner of Open-Minded Organics Dave Falkowski, a New York State-authorized grower/processor of industrial hemp, will offer his perspective on the uses and benefits of CBD oil on Thursday, May 21, at 5:30 p.m. on Zoom. While the Rogers Memorial Library is closed, all are invited to visit its website at www.myrml.org. On the home page, patrons can access hundreds of archived programs, watch past oral history events, and view their new youtube channel, which features a variety of classes, short talks, lessons and demonstrations. The library offers many resources that can be accessed remotely from home with a library card.
