Legendary drummer Corky Laing will bring his all-star band to the East End Underground Live Concert Series for a one-night-only performance on Tuesday, August 19, at 7:30 p.m. at LTV Studios in Wainscott. Bonnie Parker Band will open the show.

Presented by LTV and Hamptons JazzFest, the concert will feature “Corky Laing’s Rock Revue” with Laing on drums and vocals, Peter Baron on guitar, Mark Clarke on bass and Ken Sidotti on keyboards — along with special guests. The evening promises powerhouse performances of rock classics and behind-the-scenes stories from Laing, the last surviving member of Mountain and West, Bruce & Laing.

Laing’s legendary resume includes recording with Mick Jagger, Eric Clapton and John Lennon, jamming with Jimi Hendrix and The Band, and co-writing hits with Keith Richards and Ian Hunter. Known for tracks like “Mississippi Queen” and “For Yasgur’s Farm,” he’s also a master storyteller and will share insights into the golden age of rock.

“If you were playing in the rock era, it was who you were playing with that dictated your credibility,” Laing said. “Mountain was a musician’s band. It wasn’t a pop band. We were serious players.”

The show also highlights guitar veteran Peter Baron, who has toured with Leslie West, Joe Lynn Turner and others, and features a special appearance by Bonnie Parker, a pioneering frontwoman in Long Island rock history and recent honoree at the Long Island Music and Entertainment Hall of Fame.

Tickets are $25 in advance and $30 at the door. VIP reserved café table seating is $50 and includes a drink ticket. For tickets, visit ltveh.org. The concert takes place at LTV Studios, 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
