Creative Journeys With Ross School’s Art Academy

authorStaff Writer on Jan 21, 2025

Ross School and the Hampton Library’s Geri Bauer Art Gallery have partnered to present a new exhibition, “Creative Journeys: A Collection of Work From Ross School Art Academy.” The curated showcase at the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton features works in a variety of mediums — painting, sculpture, photography, and mixed media — that highlight the extraordinary creativity and talent of Ross School students. The exhibition kicked off with an opening reception on January 12, and will run through March 1 at the library.

This event is more than an art show — it’s a reflection of Ross School’s core values where students are empowered to embrace their unique selves, discover their passions and build confidence through creative exploration. The work featured in the exhibition speaks to the school’s commitment to nurturing individuality and fostering a lifelong love for learning and self-expression.

The Geri Bauer Art Gallery, made possible through the generosity of longtime library patron and supporter Geri Bauer, continues its mission to foster artistic expression and community engagement. Local artists are encouraged to apply for individual or group shows. Interested artists can contact the library’s director, Lisa Michne, for more information.

For details about the exhibition and the gallery, visit myhamptonlibrary.org. The Hampton Library is at 2478 Main Street in Bridgehampton.
