Lenore Weinstein, a mixed media artist who lives and paints in New York City and Westhampton, will be having a solo show at the Remsenburg Academy from July 26 through August 11. The exhibition, entitled “Dance of the Spheres,” features Ms. Weinstein’s collage paintings and opens with a reception on Saturday, July 27, from 5 to 7 p.m.

“My work is unique. The paintings in the show reflect my fascination with the passage of time and the mysteries of the universe,” said the artist in a statement. “They convey a sense of movement, mystery and wonder about ‘what lies beneath’. The materials I use appear rough and worn like real life and time passing. The work is informed by the repetition of astronomical and astrological spheres which also allude to time, motion and change.”

Ms. Weinstein had a solo show in summer 2018 at the Amagansett Library and a second at the Atrium Gallery at Westhampton Healing Arts. One of her works, which was purchased by a donor, now hangs in Guild House in East Hampton.

The Remsenburg Academy is at 130 South Country Road in Remsenburg. To see more of Ms. Weinstein’s work visit lenoreweinstein.com.
