Opera troupe Divaria Productions will return to Bay Street Theater in Sag Harbor on Saturday, April 22, to perform the opera buffa “Così Fan Tutte.”

With a title that translates to “Women Are Like That,” the Italian-language comedy by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart, with libretto by Lorenzo da Ponte, is about a bet that all women are fickle. In 1790 Naples, two young men trick their fiancées into believing they have left for war, then—disguised as Turks—they approach the women to test their fidelity.

“In the style of Commedia dell’ Arte, the characters create hilarious moments as if in a silent film but exhibit more natural acting in the serious parts of the work,” according to the theater.

The cast includes Augusta Caso as Dorabella, Stefanos Koroneos as Don Alfonso, Ashley Bell as Fiordiligi, Victor Starsky as Ferrando, James Wright as Guglielmo and Claire Leyden as Despina. The East Hampton High School Camerata—a small choir—will join in the performance.

Showtime is 8 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $50. Call 631-725-9500 or visit baystreet.org.
