The East Hampton High School Jazz Band will be hosting the internationally acclaimed Huntertones at The Clubhouse Hamptons on Tuesday, April 9, from 7 to 9 p.m. This six-piece jazz ensemble features musicians playing covers, jazz standards and originals. The group is composed of some of the more accomplished musicians in today’s scene — Dan White on saxophones, Jon Lampley on trumpet/sousaphone, Chris Ott on trombone/beatbox, Adam DeAscentis on bass, John Hubbell on drums and Josh Hill on guitar.
Both as a collective as well as individuals, the Huntertones have performed on the “Late Night Show” with Steven Colbert, as members of the band O.A.R, toured with John Batiste and Stay Human, Cory Wong, Lawrence and the Jonas Brothers.
Also performing at the concert will be the East Hampton High School Jazz Band.
Tickets for the performance are $15 (cash or check), which includes an arcade voucher at The Clubhouse. Food and drink will be sold separately. All are invited to come support music education in the community by enjoying live music, games and an experience catered to young musicians and family members alike.
The Clubhouse Hamptons is at 174 Daniels Hole Road in East Hampton. For more information, visit clubhousehamptons.com.
