The main stage lineup of the Escape to New York Festival, which will take place from Friday to Sunday, August 5 to 7, on the Shinnecock Indian Reservation, has been announced.
Headlining the Friday and Saturday shows will be rocker Patti Smith, Edward Sharpe and The Magnetic Zeros, The Vaccines, Best Coast, Au Revoir Simone, Chairlift, Lissy Trullie, Graffiti 6, Submarines, White Rabbits, The Static Jacks and The Postelles. Sunday’s lineup has yet to be announced.
Escape to New York Festival is the first pop-up independent experimental music and lifestyle festival to take place on Shinnecock land, and is expected to attract between 5,000 and 7,500 people.
