Nearly 150 music lovers gathered at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays on Friday night for the 13th annual Battle of the Bands, sponsored by the Town of Southampton Youth Bureau. The panel of judges watched carefully from their seats as five high school bands took the stage, eventually awarding Fawkes, an alternative-pop rock band, top honors. JACK SULLIVAN PHOTOS
