Marders’ “Films on the Haywall” series is back for summer 2024, and once again, Marders will be presenting free, outdoor movies every Friday night on the haywall at the nursery in Bridgehampton. Bring a blanket, beach chair and picnic for a selection of classic and new films. All showings start at dark, but not before 9 p.m. Marders is located at 120 Snake Hollow Road in Bridgehampton. June 28: Norman Jewison’s “Moonstruck” (United States. 1987) starring Cher, Nicolas Cage and Olympia Dukakis, who won an Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role and Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

July 5: Alexander Mackendrick’s “Sweet Smell of Success” (United States. 1957) starring Burt Lancaster, Tony Curtis, and Susan Harrison.

July 12: Walt Disney’s “One Hundred and One Dalmatians” (United States. 1961) starring Rod Taylor, Betty Lou Gerson, and J. Pat O’Malley.

July 19: Alfred Hitchcock’s “To Catch a Thief” (United States. 1955) starring Cary Grant, Grace Kelly and Jessie Royce Landis. Won the Academy Award for Best Cinematography and Color.

July 26: Peter Yates’ “Bullitt” (United States. 1968) starring Steve McQueen, Jacqueline Bisset and Robert Vaughn. Won the Academy Award for Best Film Editing.

August 2: Gene Saks’s “Mame” (United States. 1974) starring Lucille Ball, Robert Preston and Bea Arthur.

August 9: Terence Young’s “Wait Until Dark” (United States. 1967) starring Audrey Hepburn, Alan Arkin and Richard Crenna.

August 16: Ingmar Bergman’s “The Seventh Seal” (Sweden. 1957) starring Max von Sydow, Gunnar Björnstrand and Bengt Ekerot.
