The Sylvester Manor Educational Farm will wrap up this summer’s concert series in style, with a performance by Flatt Lonesome on Sunday, August 12, up on the Creekside stage, located at 80 North Ferry Road on Shelter Island.

The IBMA’s triple award-winning bluegrass band was named in 2017 as Vocal Group of the Year, for the second year in a row, and taped a sold-out concert with the Turnpike Troubadours earlier this year, to soon be aired on PBS’ “Bluegrass Underground.”

With Kelsi Robertson Harrigill on mandolin and vocals, guitarist and vocalist Buddy Robertson, fiddler and vocalist Charli Robertson, Paul Harrigill on banjo, Michael Stockton on resophonic guitar, and acoustic bassist Dominic Illingworth, the band continues to rack up accolades for performances nationwide — stretching the boundaries of acoustic music, as evidenced by their treatment of the “Game of Thrones” theme, an audience favorite.

Concertgoers are encouraged to bring a beach chair or blanket, and local food trucks On the Road Food Truck, King Andrew’s Cheese Wagon and the Bungalow Bar Ice Cream Truck will be on site. Local wine and beer will be available for purchase.

The concert begins at 5 p.m. Advance tickets are $35, or $40 at the gate. For more information, call (631) 749-0626 or visit sylvestermanor.org.
