Duryea’s Orient Point Opens for the 2025 Season
Duryea’s Orient Point, 40200 Main Road in Orient Point, has opened for its sixth season. The Mediterranean themed seafood centric menu features several of Duryea’s signature dishes such as the lobster cobb salad, lobster roll, tuna tartar and fresh crudité. In addition, Mediterranean-style dishes are also offered such as: Mediterranean spreads; Domata salad with vine-ripened tomato, crumbled feta, red onion and red wine vinegar; Falafel Gyro; and 3 ½ lb. red snapper with Greek-Thai salad & flat bread. Sole East Launches Sea Salt
Sole East Resort, 90 Second House Road in Montauk, has launched Sea Salt, an on-site restaurant replacing The Backyard Restaurant. Spearheaded by chef Melissa O’Donnell, Sea Salt features a vibrant Mediterranean-inspired menu including dishes like octopus confit with fava Santorini, an array of Mediterranean dips including labneh and red pepper feta, and local fish served in a traditional bouillabaisse. Father’s Day Brunch at The Hampton Maid
The Hampton Maid, 259 East Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays, will serve Father’s Day brunch on Sunday, June 15, from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Diners will enjoy a special prix fixe menu which includes chilled juice, mixed berries or watermelon salad and an entrée served with coffee or tea. Ja Rule To Step Behind the Bar at Calissa
Calissa, 1020 Montauk Highway in Water Mill, will host rapper and actor Ja Rule as a guest bartender on Friday, June 13, from 7 to 9 p.m. as he unveils his Amber & Opal whiskey brand.
