With shoes as large as President Richard Nixon and journalist David Frost, Bay Street Theater needed names just as big to fill them.

Obie Award winners Harris Yulin and Daniel Gerroll fit the bill.

The two actors will anchor the titular roles in Peter Morgan’s play, “Frost/Nixon,” staging as the second Mainstage Season production from June 26 to July 22 at the Sag Harbor theater, located at 1 Bay Street.

“It is a thrill to have two such accomplished actors taking on the lead roles in Peter Morgan’s provocative and engrossing play,” Bay Street Theater Artistic Director Scott Schwartz said in a press release. “Both Harris and Daniel are longtime friends and collaborators of Bay Street Theater, and we are delighted they will be performing with us again this summer, joined by the rest of this phenomenal cast and creative team. I am sure ‘Frost/Nixon’ will be a play our audience will be talking about all summer long!”

Directed by Sarna Lapine, the production will also star Stephen Lee Anderson as Swifty Lazaar/Mike Wallace; Cecillia Koueth as Evonne Goolagong; Christian Conn as Jim Reston; Michael Corvino as Manolo Sanchez; Brian Keane as Bob Zelnick; Danielle Slavick as Caroline Cushing; Price Waldman as John Birt; and Rich Topol as Jack Brennan.

Other members of the creative team include set designer Wilson Chin, lighting designer Ken Billington, costume designer Emilio Sosa, sound designer Josh Schmidt, projections designer Tal Yarden, hair designer Jared Janas, prop designer Andrew Diaz, dialect coach Stephen Gabis, and production stage manager Lori Lundquist.
