G.E. Smith, the ultimate blues musicologist and an East End resident, is a virtuoso guitarist and a true master of the American blues tradition. With an encyclopedic knowledge of blues history, he brings a deep understanding of the genre to every performance. Alongside his talented band, Smith delivers unforgettable evenings of American blues that resonate with audiences far and wide.

On Thursday, September 7, at 8 p.m., Smith and his trio will perform at Suffolk Theater in Riverhead. His performances are nothing short of magical, as he effortlessly weaves together the essence of blues from its earliest roots to its modern expressions. Through his fingers, the guitar sings the stories of the Mississippi Delta, the smoky bars of Chicago, and the soulful melodies of the South.

Tickets for “G.E. Smith and the American Blues” are $39 to $59 at thesuffolk.org. Suffolk Theater is at 118 East Main Street, Riverhead.
