Acclaimed East Quogue artist Garrett Chingery will present his second solo exhibition, “The Wings From Within,” at the Quogue Library from August 1 through September 4. An artist talk and reception will take place Saturday, August 2, from 4 to 6 p.m., inviting the community to explore Chingery’s latest work blending natural imagery with magical elements.

“The Wings From Within” features recent paintings that combine reality and fantasy, showcasing Chingery’s technique and imaginative vision.

“I want to invite viewers to look beyond the surface, to discover the unseen forces and emotions that shape the experience of the world,” Chingery said.

Known for his representational style, Chingery’s paintings reveal both the external likeness and the internal spirit of his subjects. His work explores the heart of the psyche, the concept of self, and the relationship between human experience and the physical and spiritual realms.

The Quogue Library is located at 90 Quogue Street in Quogue. For more information, contact Garrett Chingery at 917-969-9317.
