Prepare to be spellbound as Sag Harbor author and magician Allan Zola Kronzek brings his mesmerizing blend of literary and magical talents to the newly opened Barnes & Noble in Bridgehampton. This exclusive event, taking place on Saturday, December 9, from 3 to 5 p.m., promises an enchanting experience as Kronzek performs captivating close-up magic and signs copies of his most recent book, “Grandpa Magic: 116 Easy Tricks, Amazing Brainteasers, and Simple Stunts to Wow the Grandkids.”

The inspiration for “Grandpa Magic” struck Kronzek when he started receiving numerous requests from grandparents, imploring him to share something they could use to create magical memories with their grandchildren.

“Grandparents were coming up to me after shows, saying, ‘Teach me something I can show the grandkids,’” recalls Kronzek. “It was an intriguing challenge. All the tricks had to be powerful and entertaining, yet easy to do. I also wanted material for all age audiences, from toddlers to teens.”

In the book, Kronzek not only shares the secrets behind each trick but also weaves in the importance of presentation and storytelling to frame the magical moments and make them memorable. Kronzek is the author of several magic-centric books, including The New York Times Bestseller, “The Sorcerer’s Companion – A Guide to the Magical World of Harry Potter,” co-written with his daughter Elizabeth.

The new Barnes & Noble store is located in Bridgehampton Commons, 2400 Montauk Highway, Bridgehampton. For more information about Allan Zola Kronzek, visit his website at allankronzek.com.
