So often, where there is beauty and harmony, there is also hardship—or, in Greece’s case, near bankruptcy and political unrest.

“Colors of Greece,” a contemporary exhibition on view through September 8 at The Muses of the Hamptons in Southampton, seeks to remind visitors of the former, aiming to promote a vision of modern Greek civilization through the eyes of 21 native artists who provided 60 pieces of artwork.

Admission to the exhibition is free. For more information, visit themuseshamptons.com.
