The Hampton Theatre Company will hold open auditions for “Lost in Yonkers,” Neil Simon’s Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning, tender comic masterwork about two young boys coming of age in a zany family of colorful characters in the “City of Gracious Living” in 1942. Auditions are Sunday and Monday, January 24 and 25, from 6 to 8 p.m., at the Quogue Community Hall on Jessup Avenue in Quogue. Both union and non-union actors are invited to attend. Casting will include roles for boys ages 13 to 17, for a father in his 40s, and an aunt in her 40s. Rehearsals for “Lost in Yonkers" begin in early February, with performances running from March 31 through April 17, on Thursday, Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons, at the Quogue Community Hall. George Loizides directs.
