HBTS Brings "The Nutcracker" to Guild Hall

The Hampton Ballet Theatre School will present its seventh annual production of Tchaikovsky’s beloved Nutcracker on Friday, December 11 at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 12 at 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., and on Sunday, December 13 at 2 p.m. at Guild Hall’s John Drew Theater, 158 Main Street, East Hampton.

The ballet is choreographed by the director of HBTS, Sara Jo Strickland and includes beautiful costumes designed and hand sewn by Yuka Silvera and lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski. Resident guest artists Adam and Gail Baranello of A&G Dance Company will be dancing the Arabian Prince and Princess. Dancing the role of Dew Drop Princess will be Rose Kelly a Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS and dancing the role Dew Drop Prince will be guest artist Nick Peregrino of Ballet Fleming in Philadelphia. Sharing the role of Sugar Plum Fairy will be Abigail and Caitlin Hubbell, both Pro Student Level 6 at HBTS.

The enchanting Nutcracker will delight those of all ages, as the students of HBTS transport you to a land where angels, snowflakes and flowers dance and Clara saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King.

Advanced ticket sales are $20 for children (under 12 years of age) and $25 for adults for general orchestra seating. Day of performance tickets sales are $25 for children (under 12 years of age) and $30 for adults for regular orchestra seating.
