Healing Vibrational Sound Bath

authorStaff Writer on Dec 3, 2023

On Wednesday, December 20, at 10 a.m., bring your yoga mat and blanket and join The Church for Wellness Wednesday as the group sheds the past and embraces the coming year with an immersive healing vibrational sound bath led by wellness leaders Jaye Smith and Adriana Barone.

The duo invites participants to experience the power and benefits of combining the vibrations of the ancient gongs and ethereal crystal singing bowls as they awaken to their true self.

Guided through a visual and physical experience, participants will reveal their highest potential by allowing the soothing tones and overtones to bring them into a deeper state of consciousness. Filled with sound, the mind quiets, the heart opens and energy fields begin to clear; this practice has been shown to positively affect the immune and nervous systems, relieve stress and stimulate bilateral function in the brain.

“Our sound bath immersion is like getting a vibrational massage on a cellular level,” said Smith. “The various frequencies open your body, bypass your mind, and deepen a sense of calm and peace. You will then be open to new and more aligned possibilities.”

Jaye Smith’s career as a facilitator, and life coach spans over 25 years. Her mission is to help people be vital and chart a course for a fulfilling life. Her forte also lies in helping individuals build better, more aligned lives. Her goal is to leave a lasting impact, utilizing a wide range of tools and alternative techniques and approaches to educate and support career and life transformations. She designs programs and approaches are interactive and fun. Jaye has had a life-time commitment to serving her clients, and community to support their growth, development and sustainability and to reach their highest potential.

Adriana Barone is an energy healer with over 30 years of practice in working with individuals, families, and groups, and is committed to spiritual, emotional, and physical well-being. Her specialized healing practice has evolved over the years from her diverse background and ongoing studies, and integrates methodologies such as craniosacral therapy, sound healing, experiential therapies, psychological counseling, and yoga practices. She has a private practice in Sag Harbor where she guides private clients, hosts weekly group sound baths and meditation classes, and can also be found hosting healing journeys at LongHouse Reserve. Also a passionate artist and painter, her works can be viewed at Kramoris Gallery in Sag Harbor.

Led by an expert from the healing or wellness space, Wellness Wednesdays at The Church harness the wealth of experience and expertise of the local area, which is rich in wellness leaders, and offers it back to the community. This new series celebrates and explores one’s creative self, centering on personal wellness in mind, body and spirit. Wellness Wednesdays occur the third Wednesday of every month at 10 a.m., with a different iteration each time and attendees are encouraged to position themselves as dynamic conduits of energy and creativity.

The workshop is $10 (free for members) at thechurchsagharbor.org. The Church is at 48 Madison Street in Sag Harbor.
