LTV Studios World Voices Series will present “Hiroya Tsukamoto: A Journey Through Strings & Stories” on Friday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. Eclectic, immersive and mesmerizing; International acclaimed guitarist and songwriter Tsukamoto takes listeners on an innovative, impressionistic journey filled with earthy, organic soundscapes that impart a mood of peace and tranquility .

Tsukamoto is a one-of-a-kind composer, guitarist and singer-songwriter from Kyoto, Japan. He began playing the five-string banjo when he was 13, and took up the guitar shortly after. In 2000, Tsukamoto received a scholarship to Berklee College of Music and came to the United States. He formed his own group in Boston “Interoceanico” which consists of unique musicians from different continents including Latin Grammy Colombian singer Marta Gomez. The group released three acclaimed records. Tsukamoto has released five solo albums and has been leading concerts internationally including several appearances at Blue Note, United Nations and Japanese National Television. Tsukamoto is a two time second place winner of the International Fingerstyle Guitar Championship in 2018 and 2022

Tickets are $25 in advance at ltveh.org with VIP reserved café table seating available for $50 which includes a drink ticket. Ticket are $30 at the door. LTV Studios is at 75 Industrial Road in Wainscott.
