The Hampton Ballet Theatre School will present its 16th annual production of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky’s beloved “Nutcracker” with performances on Friday, December 12, at 7 p.m., Saturday, December 13, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, December 14, at 12 noon and 5 p.m. at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

Choreographed by HBTS director Sara Jo Strickland, the production features hand-sewn costumes by Yuka Silvera, Sara Jo Strickland and Kate McManus, and lighting design by Sebastian Paczynski. Pro students Major Bovio, Leila Genender, Summer Lillie, Olivia Quinn, Shoshana Sobey, Catherine Porter, Lauren Rosario, Twyla Tracy and Talula Tracy will perform featured roles alongside guest artists Jacob Taylor as Dew Drop Prince and Harlequin, Malik Berry as Snow King and Marzipan, James Stevko as Cavalier and Nick Peregrino as Arabian Prince and Marzipan.

The “Nutcracker” follows Clara as she saves the Nutcracker Prince from the evil Mouse King and travels to the Land of Sweets, where angels, snowflakes, and flowers dance, creating a holiday experience for audiences of all ages.

Tickets are on sale now and range from $40 to $55 (day-of-performance tickets $45 to $60). Premium and orchestra seating is available for children under 12 and adults, and group rates are available for parties of 10 or more. Guild Hall is located at 158 Main Street, East Hampton.
