Members of East End Photographers Group (EEPG) create work using traditional, digital, and alternative photographic processes—carrying out the group’s mission to promote photography and the visual arts in a community setting.

Speaking of community, this week EEPG opens “Embracing the Sun,” an exhibition at the Water Mill Museum highlighting diverse photographic imagery by members of the group. The show runs from July 25 to August 18, and you can meet the photographers at their opening reception on Saturday, July 27, from 5 to 7 p.m. While you’re there, learn more about EEPG, which encourages photographic artists to exhibit new works at each show and provides a forum for new artists just beginning to exhibit their work.

The Water Mill Museum is at 41 Old Mill Road, Water Mill. For more information call -631-726-4625 or visit watermillmuseum.org.
