Bay Street Theater’s Music Monday series will come to a close at 8 p.m. on Monday, August 25, with a one-night-only performance by Emmy Award nominee Jackie Hoffman.

Known for her fearless comedic timing and scene-stealing roles on stage and screen, Hoffman will perform “A Miserable Evening With Jackie Hoffman,” an original show featuring sharp-witted songs, biting humor and her signature blend of tragedy and absurdity.

Hoffman’s credits include Broadway productions such as “Hairspray,” “On the Town” and “The Addams Family,” along with her acclaimed performance as Yente in the Yiddish-language revival of “Fiddler on the Roof.” On screen, she’s appeared in “Feud: Bette and Joan,” “Only Murders in the Building,” “Grease: Rise of the Pink Ladies” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.”

Following Hoffman’s performance, Bay Street Theater’s fall lineup kicks off in September with a diverse slate of programming, including opera, stand-up comedy and a rock concert series starting with a Fleetwood Mac tribute band.

Tickets for “A Miserable Evening With Jackie Hoffman” are available at baystreet.org or by calling the box office at 631-725-9500. Bay Street Theater is located at 1 Bay Street, Sag Harbor.
